@MacKinnonCarly@TheStroBro I write bids for government contracts for a living. Bidders and their contact details are public info. The number of lists I am on grows every day, and NONE of it is relevant to my job or business... eeeeeesh....
@WarrenMullis So true! I’m sure the @Gilgronis were pretty much the only ones at the top of that list... but look at them!! Fantastic resurrection and story, and I expect they will be ones to watch if pro sports ever come back again.
@WarrenMullis It was bound to happen eventually with a new league; a team or two just don’t make it for whatever reason. But it really doesn’t affect the league, as a whole, other than making the conferences lopsided (for the moment).
Womens’ rugby is empowering, exciting, and everything young women need today. I cannot be more proud of the women that represent my country in this beautiful game!!
@MacKinnonCarly@ThePatClifton Yup. Go to ANY rugby game at the MLR level, and you’ll see 30-50% of the people lean over to the person sitting next to them and ask, “what was that penalty for?” Or “why did they kick it away?” Americans want understanding... not to be pandered to.
Since we’re all talking about the ‘Blitz Spirit’, and how we should act like Londoners in WW2, here’s something that never makes it into the official story.
Remember those iconic photos of working-class Londoners sheltering in tube stations? Well, that wasn’t meant to happen >
@EllenTailor To be fair, that day they clearly WERE drunk and reporting sensationalist garbage that was simply proven by stepping into any Seattle street at rush hour. Buuuuut... those were the good ole days, weren’t they? 😳
@GeorgeKillebrew@wilkey23@usmlr That is fantastic to hear!!! Thank you for doing the right thing for our boys, and setting the right tone for the league. I can’t say how happy this makes me. 💚💙💚💙
