At the International Seminar on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Its Relevance to the World recently held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, foreign participants noted that China's experience has demonstrated that poverty is not an unchangeable fate. Through firm political will, sound theoretical guidance, precise institutional design and widespread mobilization across society, the Communist Party of China has achieved the goal of eradicating absolute poverty, providing developing countries with a wealth of experience worth learning from and emulating. China succeeds, so can other developing countries.

At the invitation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, a delegation of nearly 40 representatives of political parties and think tanks from more than 30 countries recently visited Gansu province, Ningxia Hui autonomous region and Beijing. The delegation focused on exploring China's achievements and experiences in advancing Chinese modernization under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, including winning the battle against absolute poverty, advancing comprehensive rural revitalization, and leveraging new quality productive forces to empower high-quality development.

A delegation of representatives of political parties and think tanks from multiple countries visited Bulenggou village in Dongxiang autonomous county, Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Gansu province. They observed firsthand the achievements of China's poverty alleviation and rural revitalization efforts, and explored experiences in poverty reduction and development that could serve as references.

On July 9, the International Seminar on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Its Relevance to the World was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region. The theme of the seminar was "Path to Modernization: Takeaways from China's Theory and Practice in Poverty Alleviation." More than 120 participants from over 50 countries attended, including leaders of political parties, ambassadors to China, think tank scholars and media representatives.
