2/2 So, @HOME_mcr I have some questions: Who threatened the safety of your staff? Was it reported to @gmpolice? Why has your statement changed? Are you covering up your bias against Palestinians? Is censorship acceptable in a cultural body?@OwenJones84@SamiraAhmedUK
1/2 Hi @HOME_mcr I survived the Israeli genocide in Gaza, 16 of my family were killed by Israel yesterday, 200+ in total. I translate for @commapress and was going to read my poetry and tell our stories at the cancelled event. @OwenJones84@SamiraAhmedUK@BBCNWT@BBCNewsnight
“The Labour Party were us, they were our people. Not any more, that ship has sailed. We feel hurt..like a member of our family has let us down.”
Lots of debate about data in British Muslims poll. But away from Westminster, many tell me they’ve lost trust in the party.More at 7pm

500,000 people in London marching in solidarity with Palestine.
The biggest Palestine solidarity rally in British history.
Demonstrations are taking place in towns and cities across the UK.
This is not a war against Hamas!
Israel seems to be targeting our prized students, doctors, journalists, community leaders and their families in its ongoing massacre, while the Western media continues to offer it cover by repeating the same worn-out lines and misleading clichés
Tl;dr: I was shot at today
Today I lost my innocence. For the first time in my life, someone shot at me, and I was afraid I wouldn’t come back home. He wasn’t a Hezbollah or Hamas operative, but a settler who didn’t want me documenting them destroying a Palestinian's farmland
I feel like whiteness has swallowed so many of my fellow Jewish people whole
Because I don’t understand how your Jewish ancestors aren’t also crying out in rage & agony against this genocide right now. Mine are deafening and I always listen to them over a violent nation state
For 🇺🇸 Jewish ppl like me who grew up going to synagogue, we were exposed to constant Zionist propaganda from a young age, even in “progressive” synagogues
Ex: I was taught that Israel is “A land without a people for a people without a land” — truly genocidal colonial erasure
Israel is not just trying to ethnically cleanse Palestinians - they are trying to empty Gaza of Palestinians, pushing them to flee into Egypt. They are trying to erase what remains of Palestinians on their own land, it is so sinister and so hideous and Europe, US,UK are complicit
Every eyewitness account from friends in #Gaza is the same: Israel's bombing is like nothing they've ever experienced before. No pretense of "targeted strikes" on Hamas, just wanton, indiscriminate destruction of whole neighborhoods. Entire families obliterated in an instant.
Israel and Gaza are not two countries at war. Gaza is a territory under siege, where every aspect of life is controlled by Israel.
Palestinians didn’t break through a “border” to enter Israel. They destroyed a fence separating them from the homes they were forced out of.
Earlier on this month I attended the Women X Film Festival where a film script I've been working on was up for an award, what an awesome weekend of seeing some fabulous films and meeting some fabulous women! Thank you @riannepictures for the nomination and invite! 🥰🥳 @SebChau
