Rebuilding. What does that mean as it relates a token, an ecosystem, a community?

Everyone’s seen the posts all over CT that say something to the effect of

“When you see a token get blasted down 75% and it survives, hold on to that gem for dear life!”

So what does that mean? In reality that can be terrible trading advice when someone is in a token like many that have a massive pump, and then get sold down hard, only to bleed out for another 2-3 weeks to nothing.

So does that count as survival? The fact that there are a few hundred holders holding on to hope that a “pump to millions” will spontaneously arrive ANY MOMENT?

I don’t think so. In fact that’s part of the reason many holders are so disillusioned in this space, and honestly why so few can bring themselves to hold at all!

Everyone decries the “rotators” as the problem with the space, but that’s not really asking the right question is it?

The question is why the people feel the need to do that in the first place? Why do they feel so little security in their positions even when the metrics, the sentiment, and the market are all seemingly aligned?

As Ive written about before, the obvious answer is that the dopamine hit pump and dump market that we’ve all been exposed to for too long has conditioned people to be constantly in fear of losing everything in a position at a moments notice.

So back to rebuilding. What do these subjects have in common?

What separates a community and token with genuine potential to rebuild after heavy consolidated sell pressure (a few massive transactions from large wallets or KOLS) , and a community who is by every real metric dead?

The answer that to that I believe starts in the community space itself. Is the community growing? Do the membership numbers reflect that? Is there a real conversation occurring in the space? Is the conversation centered around where the space is going next , and what their position is in that evolution?

Or is it a constant stream of mindless bull posting chart watching and nothing of substance?

Now as to price action. Which is more bullish?

A) a chart dead for weeks along with its community suddenly sees a giga candle!!
Is this the moment all the weary holders have been waiting for? To millions at last?
Sadly almost unequivocally NO.

This is typically nothing more than a whale on a fishing expedition. Seeing a chart with extremely low volume, calculating how easy it is to pump, calculating whether the amount of new people that will jump in will be worth the initial investment when they dump on everyone.

B.) a chart that sees an organic grind up from a growing community get smashed by some KOL at the ATH and gets sent back to the starting line, only to begin again, with MORE community engagement, and MORE community asset consolidation at the floor again driving the price back upwards

In this case (at least at this stage in growth)there are no giga candles because the buyers are part of the local community. The price sees a measured and steady rise as it establishes new support level by level.

It should be obvious to most of you WHICH is the gem, and which is nothing but skeletal remains.

For this reason my highest conviction play at the moment is in the COMMUNITY of solana:3uEVodfTeqLsBssjQ5VPEwwdsTwWCJGCd3FVyx7RUNVB

Because I know that with a community like that! The rest is truly secondary!
