Posted my first ever blog on Monday! I will be coming out with a new one each Monday with my thoughts on a topic I’m interested in.
CNS/Performance Check Engine Light
a guide on how to improve your recovery. https://t.co/M3TQYC9zvS
fair in comparison is irrelevant, guys today would in-fact hit .440 against most 90’s pitchers . Not to mention the deflation of the strike zone over the last 20 years, most 90’s pitchers especially veteran arms were given egregiously large zones, hence their command dominance
I’m not sure how you can watch the current state of baseball and say there’s more skill involved in the 90s. There was more craftsmanship in pitching specifically, but skill no. Modern technology has given guys the ability to TRAIN skill through repetition. Whether or not that’s
This is one of the worst pro baseball takes I’ve heard (read) on X.
Baseball is more talented than ever, however their skill level is lower than before the 90s
90s - 2005 is probably the highest skill level players ever.
@txsportsdoc so u think he is throwing 101 at 16 without efficient mechanics? He is getting into elite positions and sequencing extremely well. His arm path is also very clean in relation to where his torso is at each part of motion
Fear mongering teenagers with torn UCL’s in 2026 is weird! He doesn’t throw 101 without top .1 % mechanics! Doesn’t work that way lol, I am sure he has a great team behind him which has gotten him to this point and is keeping him healthy.
With this form, worry for early UCL tear coming soon. I’ve seen this many times. He throws so hard no one wants to address the form to protect his elbow.
just because his mechanics do not look exactly like Maddox or whatever pitcher you envision as having perfect mechanics , doesn’t mean his got better or worse mechanics. everyone’s built differently, I’d be willing to bet if he threw exactly like ___ pitcher he’d throw slower
@shegone03 Such a weird way to dunk on a 21 year old hitting his first career home run and having a career altering injury to spread whatever built up resentment for new generation of baseball u have

@TheKingSource@GaryHPhillips 2nd ucl at 35. how theyre handling it is extremely smart. majority of reinjury during ucl rehab is during ramp up to live hitters, so by ramping him up for pens then shutting down he can almost treat it like ramping up healthy.

@AlbertusIV it is really insane how much has changed in pro pitching development in just the last 5 years. Bauer used to get clowned for using a body blade 😭
