After a little over a year of work, I'm excited to present one of my dream projects: my own pixel art software. It will be available at Steam on September 1st!
You can watch the trailer here!
Hope you like #PixydraStudio! =)

@SyntheticBeef @wampaholic I oppose all intellectual property law too, and your argument lies on a bad comparison.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@SyntheticBeef But that has nothing to do with the product itself. The tools used in its development, however, are relevant.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@mikulasflorek There is a sense of vicarious embarrassment or "cringe" that arises from cheap imitation. With AI-generated art, this cheap imitation quickly becomes apparent as a model gains popularity and is used by many people, even when the results themselves are perceived as "good".

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@RisingSunInt_ I believe this actually goes against the platform's rules. Openly promoting online harassment doesn't sound like something that's allowed here.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@RisingSunInt_ Oh shit... that's unacceptable. It's probably even a delictive behaviour (in some countries at least).
Sorry, I was wrong.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@RisingSunInt_ Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something, but actual harassment is a defined criminal offense, so I assume you're referring to openly criticizing someone's work online (which is ok). If you were actually referring to online harassment, then I stand corrected and offer my apologies.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@RisingSunInt_ Don't get me wrong, there are things created with AI that I love, and I would happily pay their developers for them. I use AI in my daily life, though in a different way than you do (which doesn't make me any better or worse). Still, I can’t help but point out your logical flaws.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@ArthurLyonMason @ScyanYT That is a valid counterargument. However, ethnicity has nothing to do with the development process.
Having to declare whether a certain tool was used is relevant to the final outcome, whether we like it or not.
Personally, I would prefer that no declarations be required at all...

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@TylerAlterman Even though I may not agree, it's a relief to read such a clearly honest reflection. Personally I don't believe that plagiarism should be restricted by law. It's unfortunate when it happens... certainly, but it should be left to consumers to decide what to support and what don't.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@TimSweeneyEpic @Filmbot Are these orchestrated hate campaigns, or is it an organic response?
I see excessive hatred on both sides, which often gets mixed in with reasonable criticism.
But whenever some of us try to discuss this rationally, things always become personal.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@BlueGamer Btw, thank you for buying my game @BlueGamer =)

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

I believe that if you want to discover THE BEST part of creating a videogame, you have to do it at a low level... where you have 100% control over every low-level logic that occurs within the game. "Vive-coding" won't provide you that experience. So, you're missing the best part.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@BlueGamer I’m not sure if you've seen my discussions here on X, but I’m not against AI; I've clarified several times how I use it on a daily basis.
I just wanted to remind the world that the manual development of a video game isn't necessarily the kind of task one would want to delegate.🙂

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@BlueGamer Are you accusing someone you don't know of being "elitist" for sharing an honest opinion on a controversial topic?
How do you expect to shed light on such a complex subject if nuanced, in-depth perspectives cant be expressed without it devolving into a foolish, ego-driven battle?

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@BlueGamer I would find it a valid point if you were to say that those who don't show their games are missing out on the wonderful experience of watching someone else play... even if you were to add that, for you, that is the "best part". I wouldn’t consider that "elitist". 🤷‍♂️

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@BlueGamer Your argument is off-topic and you know it... that's why you aren't showing the whole conversation =)

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@RisingSunInt_ @BlueGamer I was talking about programming game logic. Low level rules that define your game. Not about platform arquitecture.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@ninjadynamics Keep moving forward man, your game looks amazing.

[SebaFighter @SebaFighter]

@BlueGamer Ah, I see what you're referring to. I'm specifically pointing to "vibe-coding", because it's a technique that focuses directly on automating what I consider to be the best part of development.
