I took part in yesterday’s HoYoFair! It’s a story about Durin imagining lots of “what ifs.”🐈✒🐉
It was so much fun seeing so many cute and cool fan art!(*^▽^*)

Stop glorifying Filipino resilience.
We should not be proud of how well Filipinos survive problems that should have been prevented in the first place.
Resilience is not a replacement for good governance. “Filipinos are resilient” should not be used to cover poor planning, failed flood control, and lack of accountability.
We do not need to be more resilient. We need a government that does its job.
Some nights I drown in the silence,
waiting for a sign that never comes,
pulling myself back from the slow pull of doubt.
I am still here, though I don’t feel found—
a flicker in a room with no windows,
trying to believe that light remembers me.
I walk through days that feel unfinished,
like chapters missing their endings,
pages where the ink ran dry
before the words learned what they meant to be.
Everyone else seems to know their lines,
while I’m still searching for the script.
I watch the world sprint forward,
cheering each other on with easy victories.
I clap with shaking hands,
but inside, something sinks—
a quiet weight whispering, why not me?
and I don’t have an answer big enough to fight it.
