Y’all need some skills, come and get them.
Figma has publishable skills now, so sharing 3 I’ve been using a lot lately.
For most static stuff, I don’t think skills are always necessary if you can speak the language + give strong direction.
Buttttttt for animation they still cut down a ton of friction.
I built these mainly for pre-established screens/flows:

introducing Motion V2, the frontier AI for motion design.
this launch video was made entirely with Motion V2. 👇🏽

here’s how it works + what's changed:
@covacut Great video, iv been working on these visuals for my site over the last few months(these project scraps and these weird 2.5 objects) with the aim to go away from being polished.
Cool to know what iv been doing has a name!

maybe there's some weird things like with spacing and stuff and sure some of it doesnt quite work as a end product visually
but yk what i wanna see more of the fun messy stuff from companies.
a lot of stuff to be honest has been converging into sameness even when its products with completely different visual design language there's a sameiness
to it all
Love this iv been playing around with something like this trying to turn this weird font called rock 3d and turn simple svgs into a 2.5 d glphy style like the font and then into a fully 3d object only issue I have these objects are authored so they don’t fully follow logic so when they turn 3d its does and trying to ge it to look exactly the same head on as the the 2.5 d glphy has been hard.
I could technically just replace the headon with new new one from the 3d object but im trying to get it exact
I was a collegiate runner in college. I think good article overall. I wouldn’t focus on heart rate too much. It can be a double edge sword.
In both directions. There’s a lot more coming into play to effort level beyond just hr and your zones.
Forcing yourself to run slower because of your hr is something to be careful about. You’ll start fighting against your biomechanics. Granted if you start going like let’s say race pace for easy run yeah slow it down.
But if parts of ur easy run end up being faster that’s okay. You want your body to become more efficient.
The other part is from my experience not every part improves at the same time. My hr tends to be the first and it takes time for my other stuff to get there so even at a workout my hr might be lower but the rest isn’t there yet
As you know ive been using Rock 3D as a decorative font in my portfolio and as part of some of the design language.
Finally got the whole font working as rotatable 3D objects.
Basically added real depth to it. Since the font gets pretty abstract at points, some stuff flattened out a little in 3D, but overall a solid little experiment.
Still trying to fix the lag , much smoother when you view them once at a time.

Would fountible work well making custom ui animations for like hero images you see in case study’s and case study cards. Does it work along with teh ai agent for animations.?
I’ve been playing around with different stuff to see what works best so curious. Ik these type of animations probably can be done in a lot of tools
One of my favorite parts I created has been these small moments, like these cursor morphs.
Custom cursors aren’t new, and neither is this kind of hover morph. The fun part was getting my Rock 3D look to work across the whole site in smaller moments like this, especially getting every cursor + pill combo to morph nicely.

Hopefully pushing the final Canvas Lab soon. A little sneak peek into what the final site is building toward.
