Ms. @pooja_kapur , Additional Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs called on Polish Secretary of State H.E. Mr. W.T. Bartoszewski in Warsaw. The discussions reiterated the longstanding friendly relations between India and Poland, nourished by high-level political engagement. Further deepening of political exchanges, economic ties including in areas such as EVs, mining and shipping by leveraging the India-EU FTA, developing defence and technology cooperation, as well as enhancing educational, cultural and people to people exchanges were discussed.

They reviewed 🇮🇳- 🇵🇱 Strategic Partnership and discussed the key deliverables of the Action Plan (2024-2028).
The final day of the visit by Deputy PM, FM @sikorskiradek to India included a meeting in Delhi with 🇮🇳 Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam @DrSJaishankar.
The talks focused on:
🔸 the development of Poland–India cooperation, including issues such as the strategic partnership, trade and investment, security and defence, as well as cultural and educational exchange
🔸 cooperation within the United Nations and other multilateral organisations
🔸 current international challenges, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, India–EU relations, and transatlantic cooperation
💬I want to assure you that Poland and India are countries that are interested in upholding the principles of international law.
Both of our countries condemn the crossing of international borders, either by tanks or by terrorists.
Both India and Poland are victims of transnational terrorists and therefore we condemn it in the strongest terms.

Deputy PM, FM @sikorskiradek began the second day of visit to India by taking part in the panel “A Continent in Crisis: Russia, Ukraine and the European Story” at the Jaipur Literature Festival.
The discussion with 🇮🇳 diplomat Navtej Sarna covered not only geopolitics and Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, but also history and society.
Deputy PM, FM @sikorskiradek began his visit to India in Jaipur, where he met with the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Rajasthan’s Minister of Finance, Diya Kumari. 🇮🇳
💬 The talks focused on the potential for cooperation with Rajasthan, Polish investments in India and the international situation.
