Not only are there many gender and racial stereotypes in the Disney movies, there are also a bunch related to mental health. In fact, 85% of their 34 animated features movies released before 2004 presented some sort of mental illness stereotype

Found a crazy stat looking up Disney stereotypes. Women rarely speak in the movies. In fact women speak just 32% of the time in The Little Mermaid, have 24% of lines in Pocahontas and 23% in Mulan. In Aladdin, female characters have just 10% of the dialogue.

Disney was made to appeal to all ages, but it is especially the young ones. These movies help shape the stereotypes we have of people which is why it's important to educate children about them.
