Building an app or online business with AI?
I help early-stage builders validate the idea, research users, prioritize features, design screens, and create test prototypes, saving weeks building the wrong thing.

@thekitze Such a missed opportunity. OpenAI's products do way more than just chat with their users now, and GPT is a scientific term. Codex had great brand potential.
@DanAdvantage@jpattondesign@jxnlco This is incredibly disappointing... In the videos it said Live could defer thinking to 5.5 and come back with a response, but they also hyped up the "full-duplex" listening-responding and instruction following, and those doesn't seem to be working for people either.
I’ve spent the last two years designing around a TTRPG problem I kept seeing:
“Player engagement at the table”
That led me to build Campaign Cauldron, a desktop app for turning players' ideas into ingredients for prep.

I’m especially curious how other GMs handle this:
How do you get players to feel invested and engaged during your RPG sessions, without putting all the work on yourself to provide the entertainment and guidance? -- Much love <3

I’ve spent the last two years designing around a TTRPG problem I kept seeing:
“Player engagement” is not always about players being quiet, distracted, or passive.
Sometimes they just do not have enough meaningful handles in the world to grab onto.

@DanAdvantage@jpattondesign@jxnlco I suspect you may have “Advanced” selected, that one was built on 4o architecture. Live is a new thing, and I guess still has dumb answers.
“Tummy toggle” has a certain charm. It sounds like a switch that enables snacks.
There could be:
Midriff nub
Navel knob
Abdomen adapter
Belly plug
Torso dot
Life’s factory reset button
Umbilical port
Baby cable socket
Watching #WWDC and Apple’s agentic features make the iPhone feel like way more than just a smartphone. Calling it that feels archaic. Making phone calls is the *last* thing I use my iPhone for these days.
@tyronerodriguez@edmundmcmillen Loving the update and seeing more love for multiplayer! Any chance we’ll see competitive game types added in the future? I can see racing against players on the same seed/challenge being really fun.
@DoodleBug_x To be honest, I've been asking myself the same thing. I'm starting out in a new career, and I know I need to make friends so I can feel more confident. But... people in my field are young and so talented and everyone has a degree. Meanwhile I'm like "Hello, fellow kids 👋🐸."
@Asterfall Thank you for the recognition! I'm really proud of the messages I sometimes get from game masters just getting into L5R, they would say "I was really nervous about GMing, but your resources helped make things much easier." I love to hear it!
Player Engagement: Scoping the Competition
In this post we look for tools that already exist to serve similar users and problems with player engagement.
