@mattwolfgang@GuyDealership Most dealerships tech do not want to get their hands dirty. Way easier to work on almost new cars where everything comes off easily. Techs also mostly work on newer cars so are not used to the older tech. I don't go to the dealer after warranty is expired.
@theBrokeLab @tokyoballa @GuyDealership Definitely expensive, but people are paying 100k$ for a Jeep or a Ford pickup truck, so doesn't surprise me anymore. And honestly I don't think Kia is worse than many other brands. Just a question of perception.
@spyderms@MissJilianne @craighibberd An electric car is great in cold weather. Almost instant cabin heat. No need to wait for the car to warm up. Affects range, but with proper planning it's fine.
@jrmmke@ray_barrera@GuyDealership I owned a Nissan Versa for 10 years. Perfectly fine car for what it is. Basic transportation that won't break the bank. And the 6-speed manual made it a bit more fun!
@GeoffreytheC@BLKMDL3 @theonlytomtrain In North America, standard sockets are only 120V, so charging would be a around 1,4kW. Better than nothing but really slow to charge such a big battery.
@alex_avoigt@Adamerik91 "the electricity costs for renewables will trend towards zero." I will be keeping that quote. I'm all for renewables and electrification, but wow that's just nonsense.
@KevinLefrancois Ça fait longtemps que je ne regarde plus le hockey, encore moins aller au Centre Bell, mais il me semble que justement j'aurais voulu y aller pour voir un gars comme Bedard jouer, pourquoi les gens veulent le descendre?
@BLKMDL3 The question is more why is this even deemed necessary by most Tesla owners. The paint should just be able to withstand normal use without adding protection on it.
@GuyDealership American consumer's love for ever bigger and powerful trucks has effectively killed the affordable car segment. Way more profitable for car makers to sell 100k$ souped-up pick-up trucks. Almost nothing left reasonably priced for the masses.
@DeniseRiopel @DLetaquin J'avais affiché un truc à disons 300$, quelqu'un m'écrit en m'offrant 150$. Je lui au répondu que pour lui c'était donc 400$... perte de temps.
