Really hope that when it does start releasing, the ball just keeps rolling, because I don’t think I could take 2.5-3 year gaps between seasons, and then they’d probably end up having to recast Jake every other season due to aging 😭
Yeah, there’s no chance his Dark Tower series is happening this decade lmao, bar some miracle.
Makes me wonder why he announced it so early. Been almost 4 years since the announcement and looking likely to be another 4 until release at the earliest.
Some shots I got of the #thebatman filming last night!
Couldn’t stay long and probably should have went to the other side of the bridge, but was still really fun to watch!

We are saddened by the passing of James Ransone. We are grateful to have worked with him on The Black Phone and Sinister movies.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones.
The life of chuck. I swear Mike Flanagan makes the best movies but when they’re released in cinemas, no one ever shows up to watch them and then complains there’s no good films anymore 😭
@TomMCJL Glad to see they reused the scrapped twist in chapter 2 where Mike was dead all along and the losers find his body in the sewer, then the Mike they had been following the whole movie morphs into Pennywise.
Would have sucked in chapter 2, but was really brilliant here!
Literally all this is ever going to accomplish is doubling the international piracy of this brand new spinoff.
Disney have been sabotaging this franchise at almost every turn, so I bid them good riddance.
Coca-Cola’s annual Christmas advert is AI-generated again this year.
The company says they used even fewer people to make it — “We need to keep moving forward and pushing the envelope… The genie is out of the bottle, and you’re not going to put it back in”
Also, the best episodes in the Disney era were the episodes that clearly had a much lower budget so they could put more money into the awful MCU style finales.
Thinking Boom, 73 yards, The Well and The Story and the engine.
The CBM-ification of who was a nice idea, but the big budget just lead to things getting carried away. The 60th trilogy was a prime example that you can have big scale, captivating and new ideas pulled off on a BBC budget. They should have stuck with that to begin with.
The Empire of Death is still the best example of where too much money isn't always a good thing.
I doubt they'd have written Sutekh like a giant dog if they couldn't get the fancy effects. It was style over substance 110% with this one.
@AndrozaniChap Tbh, the BBC themselves leaked the set on Instagram and were just handing the sets out to new apprentices it seems, so I’m pretty sure they were aware it would get out.
@DNDSTAYSON@ITMovieOfficial Was said at NYCC the other day that this character encountered Pennywise when he was a child and is now leading a military operation.
