My uncle wrote to me in the Spectator on why he couldn't vote for @jeremycorbyn
They asked me to reply, so here's why I voted @UKLabour https://t.co/UT5WSjl4VI

[The Spectator @spectator]

Jeremy Corbyn is inspiring, passionate and cares about the people he represents – unlike Theresa May. https://t.co/9WkuhkDnws

@YungSpvnach There’s a great punk band called Eastfield who have loads of songs about trains, including one called Fare Dodging

[Sebby Zatopek @SebbyZatopek]

@AngelaPeggyH I think it depends on the network. I’m O2 and I can use my data allowance around Europe

[Sebby Zatopek @SebbyZatopek]

@ballstothis That must have been a nervous wait for your baggage to arrive!

[Sebby Zatopek @SebbyZatopek]

@Ali_jf @ballstothis @rebeccajoymoore That’s amazing!

20 years ago today, Sebby, Pete & Will played the first ever Zatopeks gig at a battle of the bands in Birmingham. The set was daft Ramones-inspired songs cobbled together in a one-hour practice session. Here's footage from our 3rd gig! #zatopeks20years

The antifascist resistance fighter Sophie Scholl was born 100 years ago today. We thought it's a good time to share this new demo song about her for our forthcoming album. This song's for Sophie Scholl!✊https://t.co/2a3NdqbCj0

Uber have now LOST their appeal on the ruling that they employ workers, not contractors.

I said back in 2019 that refusing basic benefits was silicon valley bro culture at it's worst and a massive own goal.

Because English Employment law includes the Duck Test.

A quick thread

[Sebby Zatopek @SebbyZatopek]

@Ali_jf I was thinking that too. And if tier 2 only keeps things at the same level and doesn’t reduce infection rates then presumably it’s impossible to move from tier 2 down to tier 1?

The iron law of politeness is about enforcing a divide between those who get to make political decisions, and those who are affected by them.

To starve one child is a crime. To starve a million is politics.

@RJMrgn @petefrasermusic My bandmate actually has the same Rascal bass and she has a Bedford Rascal van too! Both of them get quite a lot of attention from people

Why can’t all interviews with Boris Johnson be as good as this one?

[Hannah Miller @hanrmiller]

Danny Dyer talking about the history of the street I live on

Danny Dyer on the battle of cable street: “Oswald Mosley and his black shirts - not a boy band - but a bunch of fascist slags”
