In it, I talk about how many in the FF7 Remake fandom treat people who criticize this game

I include screencaps of FF7R fans who've:
1) Told me to kill myself
2) Threatened to kill me
3) Wished death upon me
4) Called for others to kill me

This has been going on for a year straight

Maybe I'm being cynical, but I think the reason he removed that part is because it shows I am talking about the fandom - not Square Enix

FF7R fans are the ones who spread the lie that I never played the original game, among other things. You can see them doing it in the comment section of his very post. It's not "my" game, but I did play it.

But it's my fault for letting that annoy me. I am being cringe in this clip. I could have worded it better. This was recorded Live. I'm not always word-perfect

The sad thing is, the part he removed proves what I said. A lot of people do not want to criticize FF7R. Why?
Because if you do, there are people in this fandom who will become a never-ending problem in your life. Like him

Bro, you are not a martyr for Final Fantasy VII. And “YOUR history”? YOUR history? It is not your history in any way, shape, or form.

You played a video game that meant a lot to you. So did millions of other people. You do not own the interpretation of it, you do not own its legacy, and disagreement with you is not somebody “rewriting your history.”

That level of personal identification with a game is exactly why this whole thing has gotten so extreme.

ALSO, the fact that you KEEP taking jabs at Maximilian Dood is not only childish, but completely unnecessary, especially when you keep taking him out of context.
