@tim_radio@StuartLeonard18@KNWAFOX24 I appreciate you bringing this up, take care and be safe. And congrats on your weight loss journey, you are inspiring us big fellas to make it happen. Have a great evening brother
@tim_radio@StuartLeonard18@KNWAFOX24 To see used vehicles (a typically instantly depreciating asset) tripling in value. Just insane to see some of the values these were bringing, and real estate as well. Unfortunately, the markets are set by these sellers listing and buyers paying those prices.
@tim_radio@StuartLeonard18@KNWAFOX24 I agree. Real estate typically appreciates, but these past two years have been mind boggling to say the least. We saw the same types of increased w the vehicle market (used mostly) that took a jump due to adverse effects from COVID. It was unnatural to
@tim_radio@KNWAFOX24 Growth for any area is a good thing, but affordable housing is a necessity for our citizens. Maybe there’s a way for the cities to do like the article, and start meeting this head on to help insure that now and moving into the future. Thank you for sharing the link, it’s good
@tim_radio@KNWAFOX24 Along with capped and frozen tax increases (5% cap on homesteaded property and a freeze against any increase for those 65+ or 100% disabled). There are some caveats to that, I just mention that a revaluation doesn’t mean they will always be hit w a major increase or one at all.
@tim_radio@KNWAFOX24 The economic impact is supposed to be substantial. Its certainly can and has been overwhelming in some cases. We are bound to value based off market data, whichever way it’s going. There are a few protective measures for those property owners, such as up to $375 tax credit,
@StuartLeonard18@tim_radio@KNWAFOX24 Such as homestead tax credit (up to $375 off bill), capped tax increases (or frozen amounts for 65+ years or older or 100% disabled). I say that to because an increase in a homes value doesn’t mean the owners will always be hit w it at once or will even see an increase at all.
@tim_radio@KNWAFOX24 The market has certainly been skyrocketing these past 2 years for sure. We are currently on a 5 year cycle that will conclude in 2025, and aren’t statutorily allowed to go before that. The rental market has been crazier and might get higher w the new mission at the base in FS.
The added downside to making ANY changes to the bill is that it would have to go back to the House to be repassed for a third time. This would take weeks. That is time many veterans do not have. They are sick today and need benefits now.
The PACT Act is a stand alone bill. The PACT Act has no spending unrelated to Veteran's Health and Benefits. There is no "Pork". There is no budget maneuver that then allows Dems to backfill w whatever they want...but as a registered Liberal Piece of Shit...don't take my word.
25 senators changed their votes and no longer support toxic-exposed veterans. No more delays! No more games! Tell your senators to #PASSTHEPACTACT! https://t.co/8bxgIhgoTT
@rachaelsfoster@MarzanoResource@FSSouthside@FSSchools A very dedicated and wonderful group. We see them at Southside Football games. Thank you for recognizing them, they are the foundation for any success at the school but they don’t always receive their due notice.
