@Spencerfor12 Thank you for your reply. Hopefully, all councillors and the mayor will treat this not as a right but as taxpayer's money to use only if really needed to protect their families. It should not be needed for most if everyone is honest, but sadly there are also many evil people.
While I agree with having proper security installed and maintained from public funds, these amounts are outrageous!!! My most expensive security system (including video cameras) cost me about $2.5k and $60/mth. Now, I pay much less than that monthly. #yyccc
