The South African government DOES NOT WANT its citizens to know the true extent of illegal immigration.
The numbers are over 25 million.

Civic movement March and March says it will continue to enforce the Criminal Procedure Act, which allows citizens to arrest individuals for certain offenses without a warrant.

I’ve watched almost all the people being repatriated back to their countries and the absolutely horrible things they have been saying about South Africa, they claim that ever since they came here their lives have been miserable and that they didn’t have jobs and never felt safe, yet they proceeded to stay here illegally for YEARS!!!! So all along we are living with people who hate our country so much, yet continue to benefit from it? Imagine how much more they hate us as South Africans? So why are we being accused of xenophobia for telling them to go back home?
Home Affairs Deputy Minister Njabulo Nzunza tells me on #TheCMShow that gov will now send the deportation bills to the embassies of countries whose nationals are deported. @Radio702
How mining executive Thomas Ntuli was coerced into monthly payments of between R50,000 and R300,000, allegedly by Joe 'Ferrari' Sibanyoni's extortion syndicate.

A company allegedly billed the Ekurhuleni metro R483m using ghost workers and wildly inflated invoices… including the city's executives’ kids who were paid as engineers. 'I’ve never seen such looting in my life,' says one executive. https://t.co/2bGCdkBrQz
Despite the president's address tonight, the underlying challenges are unlikely to disappear. Employers will continue hiring undocumented foreign nationals, corrupt Home Affairs officials will continue selling documents and others will continue accepting bribes to facilitate illegal immigration and fraudulent documentation.
March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has welcomed President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address on immigration. She says it reflects growing concerns over illegal immigration and the need for stronger enforcement of existing laws. #Newzroom405

Jacinta has come onto SABC news and obliterated the points that Ramaphosa has raised as impossible to implement.
She cites inadequate deportation vehicles, a border only secure in 25% of its entire length, a badly under-staffed BMA with only 800 immigration officers, how will they deal qith so many millions of ollegal immigrants?
WATCH | March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese Zuma doesn’t believe President Cyril Ramaphosa was properly briefed about the damage that illegal immigration has done. But she says his plans are not implementable.
Whoever is advising the President is doing him a very HUGE disservice ‼️
The President needs to go back to the drawing board and understand how most of the things he is suggesting won’t even work! He needs to practically take time and go to home affairs, BMA, the border, refugee centres etc and understand the problem before he can even try and provide solutions. The President needs to take time and UNDERSTAND the problem or he will always fall short.
I’m disappointed that he continues to think this is a political and tribal issue…
