They’ve been detained for eight months. An immigration judge denied them bond last week, citing “insufficient assets and insufficient property.” Because of that, these children could remain in detention for years while their case is appealed.

Conditions are horrific. The water is putrid. Mothers are forced to mix baby formula with water that stinks and there’s bugs in the food.
