@romanryder Many systems contain the The Golden Rule (story/GM's rule trumps written rules.) #Exalted added The Red Rule. Essentially: social/seduction systems must never trump player comfort/consent. I now treat The Red Rule as trans-systemic, and use it in all games, regardless of system.

@DMsTreehouse I run really talk-y games with lots of politics and character drama. In #Exalted I average 1 fight every 3 sessions, in #dnd more like 1 in 2. Whenever I run too long without a fight though, my players start talking about it being "murder-thirty," or even "murder-fourty-five."
