There's a certain charm to 2014 winston, that I just absolutely adore, and in some ways actually prefer over the winston we have today. He still is the #1 GOAT of Overwatch, but MAN I adore the raw experimental art style of pre-launch Winston. Just something special about it.

@EXCELSIORSPEAKS What data implies people prefer 5v5? The data in the dev talk post could just implying people prefer role queue to open queue which is totally valid. This test will help to confirm or deny if that’s the case or not.

@jadedhues Tbf 6v6 does not normally have role queue which I think makes a big difference in the reason more people play 5v5. The core mode will always have a higher player count.

@qwibbipndrs The problem I see happening is that tank players who actually want 222 are going to quickly realize they can get it by just queuing DPS and locking tank, so I see this creating its own issue.

I’ve enjoyed it myself though, and would love to go back to 6v6 as the core mode.

@OWCavalry Hilarious how all the actual tanks are queueing as DPS to guarantee they get a second tank, which is ironically going to make the actual tank queue even LONGER, which is the exact problem they were trying to solve.
