@Lostbrain15 Agreed, it doesn’t have to be live. It can be pre-recorded and then set remotely. My point is that regardless of the approach, teachers are working tirelessly to provide education. Piers saying teachers are unwilling is not helpful, as the majority are and continue to do so.

@piersmorgan I heard your rant about teachers not being willing to teach live lessons. I find it ridiculous too. But, I would say the majority of teachers are delivering high-quality live lessons, so to call us out on TV isn’t helpful, considering the bashing we receive anyway.

They cannot quote the risks to teachers if the data used goes up to October. School staff are at a greater risk up to 333% above average according to TES. The people who follow me get this, but unfortunately reports like this indoctrinates people. Tell us the actual figures!

@SecondaryTeach6 Thanks to Gav keeping schools open on Monday, a child with a temp&cough came in. Sent home by 9.30. Test results today? POSITIVE. Keyworker bubble now sent home. TA who was with him before going home? Her husband’s COPD🤞he doesn’t get it & doesn’t die!! Unavoidable. So angry 😡

@CV19JUSTICEUK I agree and I have no clue. In any other walk of life, Gavin Williamson would have been sacked months ago. But he continues to blag his way through everything. People who claim to care about education must get him to resign. He is ruining pupils’ futures & their education.

Oh heck. He actually said 3-5 hours of TEACHING per day.
The law, meanwhile, is simply "assignments/work" which is equivalent to what you'd get across 3-5 hours of teaching.

Sigh. I'm going to spend days on radio/tv clarifying this, aren't I?
