The exhaustion mechanic in #DnD5e is brutal and probably the most realistic element of the game.
After a few broken long rests in a row I can safely say I have disadvantage on skill checks today and am definitely moving at half speed...

Campaign ideas buzzing in my head! Current Eberron game and about 3 or 4 others (homebrew) plus a couple of ideas for tweaking existing modules/dungeons i uave wanted to play for ages. Really cool ideas (I think) but being hit by the likelihood of actually getting to play them...

Played #DnD as a player for the first time in a loooong time last night l. Had such a blast! just existing in a world I didn't know everything about/have to fabricate on the fly. Making choices based on one character's perspective. Really refreshing.

LOVE ttrpgs & GMing. LOVE my players. But I always have such a huge low the day after playing.
Depression, imposter syndrome (regardless how well the session went), feelings of worthlessness.
