@SamuelDeats Just another one of those things where I have to wonder if I'm just getting old and out of touch, but I really don't understand who these are for anymore.
We're a long way from PS1 and PS2 being consoles for the average person.
I barely post because this app seems to barely work, but my best friend Olive is getting put to sleep today.
I made a whole video game about her, because I love her so much. I know my love for her is eternal.
I asked my Dad and @kungfuqua to look after her until I get there.
Our dad, Danny Newman Hance, Jr., passed away earlier today.
He taught us how to play music in the first place. He taught us everything. He really had an outsized personality and influence.
We love you, and are going to miss you, Dad.
This is the video game I made.
It's called "Daugger" because someone had already made a Frogger clone called "Dogger."
It's on Steam.

I made a video game called Daugger about my dog, Olive. You run around and pee on stuff and have objectives to complete each level.
I did art, programming, my wife wrote with me, my brother Ben did all the music & sounds. Please check it out.

@The_Fredwords It was the closest thing to playing the game that they could've done.
They weren't trying to sum up the whole experience, just focusing on one little story that could be possible.
They captured the clash of tone between characters and all that.
My son watched Donnie Darko last night, a film released in 2001, and set in 1988, only 13 years earlier.
That's like a movie releasing this year and being set in the year 2010.
