@Zona_Baseball He’s doing that “never roll your wrist swing” that he never did before. Swing the bat and let it roll over at the top of the follow through! His dad never swung like that in his life.
@TJHannam10 Try to understand that 100’s of scouts and thousands of tryouts have this down to a repeatable science. A 60 yard dash replicates scoring from second on a single. Running 60 yds in a straight line is easy to replicate at every tryout. Eliminate variables to benchmark effectively
@notgaetti You probably have to take out Clemens and Maddux. Live Maddux but not bear as dominant as the others; and Clemens roided up with the best of them.
@shegone03@MLB A lot of guys had oppo power back then, just not the second tier HR guys. Thome, Belle, Vlad could all do it but moving the fences in turned a lot of doubles into HRs.
@CoachSwit In school, ok if the kids asks. On travel, after $4k team fees, driving 16 hours round trip and only getting in for 1 or 2 innings, it’s ok to have a mature, calm conversation about it. NEVER trust a coach that cannot have an unemotional discussion about your kid’s development.
@CoachCosgrove_@Amie_Just And btw her team rallied that inning and ended up winning? Baseball purists would say that’s exactly how to coach that situation because it sparked the team.
@CoachCosgrove_@Amie_Just So many of you guys are so bullshit and don’t think women coaches have to deal with that type of stuff and obviously aren’t watching that games
Went to a HS to watch some of my hitters play - baseball and softball - and the amount of uppercuts I see are CRAZY! Kids missing balls they should smoke, they end up fouled back or lazy fly balls.
