I think that’s partly due to it being a cultural norm. In the white community, teens take their partners home in high school and families are guiding those relationships. Black teens are taught dating is a crime and are then expected to pull a spouse and kids out a hat 🫩

This is actually how I ended up running Comrades 😂. TUT 21km race I was running along side this mdala for 11km odd until finish, at the end he said you actually have great pace & should consider running comrades.
