Ontario is growing fast, with population growth driving demand on public services. At the @CDHoweInstitute, the SoC spoke about how the OPS is responding with speed, discipline and results.

Today, we join with Ontarians in mourning the loss of Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Brandon Malcolm, who tragically died while on duty. Our deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones, as well as his OPP colleagues and the entire policing community.

(2/2) Now, new digital certification means property title updates that took ~15 days can happen instantly. In April 2026, a new milestone will be achieved with 1M registered by Digital Certification.

We are modernizing services to better meet the needs of Ontarians.

(1/2) Then→Now: In the 2000s Ontario became the first jurisdiction to automate its land registry, moving beyond paper. While significant progress was made, certifying land registrations still required some manual intervention.
