@CanadianPens@HockeyyInsiderr One game a week is a huge positive
Football is played over the weekend, every weekend during the season. You watch at home and talk with coworkers Monday morning.
CFB on Saturday, NFL on Sunday. Everyone knows this.
I don't know the cadence of NBA/NHL/MLB games at all.
@KalanisCalves@CyclonePower40 The average is probably well under 200 lbs, if we're being honest.
The average gym-goer can probably bench over 200 lbs, but the average man can not bench their body weight.
@csuwildcat@pharoahfilms@even_steven8tht I've met a few high schoolers who could bench over 300 lbs. Literally every one of them played D1 football in college, and none were under 200 lbs.
310 at 160 is an elite power-to-weight ratio, and at 17, this is world-class.
Possible, but this is extremely rare
@DavidMonks2001 @ElonFears1A@9mmsmg Lol anyone who thinks seatbelts are harmful is truly an idiot
How do these nitwits provide for themselves in the modern world? Or are they still all dependent of their parents?
@BitcoinUndisc@Peter_Bukowski@uncledoomer Basic cooking is just following directions, it's the easiest skill in the world.
Any competent adult can make basic recipes. If you can code, you can surely make chicken and rice with a veggie side.
@FlipperiPerri@paleonormie Austin ain't California.
There are many 1500+sqft homes with a 2 car garage in good condition for far under 500k.
Housing is expensive, but you don't have to just straight up lie.
@BitcoinUndisc@Peter_Bukowski@uncledoomer My dude, just meal plan?
Meal planners are often kinda cultish, but in two hours on Sunday afternoon you can prep all of your breakfast and lunch for the entire week.
Then you spend 3 minutes heating your lunch.
You'll eat better, healthier, and save like 70%.
@OPlz@9mmsmg You're right, I don't want my new car to have ABS, airbags, crumple zones, a back up camera, brake lights, or a collapsible steering column.
After all, "I don't believe the government should be forcing people to purchase things against their will."
@ElonFears1A @DavidMonks2001 @9mmsmg They have proven to be effective as life saving measures
If you don't think you should wear a seatbelt, what's the point of regulations on airbags? Collapsible steering columns? Roll cages? Crumple zones? Helmets?
We should just maximize freedom, right? No matter the danger
@ElonFears1A @DavidMonks2001 @9mmsmg Well, that's not how the world works.
People do stupid or unwise things all the time.
Wearing a seatbelt is an objective good, and is the easiest barometer of whether someone is an idiot or not. If you don't wear your seatbelt, you're an idiot, plain and simple.
