🇬🇭 Oxford No. 1 Hotel has denied reports that a court-appointed receiver has taken over the property.

Management says the hotel remains under the control of Kensington Residential Partners 1 Limited and is open for business.

It explained that the dispute began after Cola Holdings Ltd claimed it had settled the hotel’s IFC loan and demanded repayment.

The company says it has appealed the court’s decision appointing a receiver and is seeking to stop any takeover while the appeal is heard.

According to the hotel, the legal dispute stems from Cola Holdings Ltd’s claim that it settled the property’s IFC loan and is entitled to repayment.
