Shakespeare is SO much better when experienced in its original medium. Shout-out to the Atlanta Shakespeare Company!
Reading Shakespeare in school is like verbally sharing a visual gag comic.
@jeffbrice Forecast shows: chance of building two
It's mirror builds for me and my girlfriend, so I'm building mine first as crash test dummy and then we'll see how much work *I* end up putting into building the second
@worklifevalue This is more of a general game design question rather than one specifically about cubing...
So I ask you this: What parts of your design did **the players** find fun?
Keep only those elements, throw the rest away, and try again. Failure is part of the process!
Now that I've actually recovered from GDC, it was so much fun getting to meet both new and old colleagues!
I'm sad I wasn't able to play the alt.ctrl games, but if I go next year, I'll be sure to!
It's crazy that in California they just... Send you your ballot... And all the information you need to understand the ballot
It's almost as if they WANT you to vote or something
A game that started as a Halloween prop which Michael turned into a unique Alt.Ctrl game ๐ฅ
Meet 'Alghrab', designed by @SecretlyAPlant, an indie game that's a fortune-telling machine based on crowsโ facts.
Check out our new series, The Indie Spotlight ๐๐ป https://t.co/TBIl26G3Qc
@iBrews@michaelybecker@Duriavenator Over the course of the 3 days Alghrab was shown, I believe around 40 people managed to successfully unravel the secret to Alghrab's game and earn their prophecy. :)
#gdc2022 is now officially over!
Congrats to everyone who discovered the secret!
If you still want to earn your fortune, I made a digital version, which is available on itch!

@jeffbrice Yeah!
Alghrab is the world's only animatronic fortune telling crow! You have to beat him at his own card game in order to earn your fortune.
I did create a digital version for people to play at home, but the intended experience is with the crow in person :)
