DBC has been upgraded to support higher-market-cap coins and long-term creators.

Many coins launched from DBC do so with 1-2% fees, and these fees stay constant, slowing tokens down as they grow from $5M market cap to >$100M market cap.

We’ve launched market cap trading fees, allowing teams to reduce trading fees as tokens go up, allowing tokens to sustain higher market caps by allowing for more traders and volume to come in without penalty.

Secondly, we wanted to support dev-buys for long-term alignment, while enjoying sniper protection from ruining their launches.

Going forward, all dev-buys on DBC launches will avoid the sniper tax, allowing creators to configure anti-sniper fees while buying their own coins for long-term alignment.

We implemented this to improve the quality of coins, and will monitor to ensure this ultimately benefits the trenches.

These changes will be rolled out across all partnered launchpads like BagsApp, Americadotfun, and many more in the days to come.

P.S: This is combined with a new anti-spam fee to boost the quality of coins on Meteora DBC.

We will keep making DBC better for the trenches.
