The revolution continues.
In Iran, a mullah was on a bus, taking pictures of women without hijabs to report to the police. However, he met strong resistance from the women on the bus. In response to their pressure, he deleted a photo of a young woman that he had taken with his phone. Overwhelmed by the women's resistance, the mullah was forced to leave the bus. As he was leaving, his turban was even removed from his head.
The tides are turning in Iran. The same Islamic authority that once used intimidation tactics against women is now finding itself on the receiving end of it. In a society where they previously held unquestionable power, they are now being challenged by the very women they sought to suppress. The revolution continues.
