sweet family of Red-crowned Cranes (丹顶鹤,Grus japonensis), in Heilongjiang province.

They are under top-class state protection in #China.
It is a large East Asian crane among the rarest cranes in the world.

new-born Black Swan (黑天鹅,Cygnus atratus) chick, inside a school park in #Beijing, #China.

There are 9 nests (9 couples) in the park. A typical clutch contains 4 to 8 greenish-white eggs that are incubated for about 35–40 days.
