The song “I Love You” by Billie Eillish heart rendingly portrays the reaction of an affectionate LO to the, perhaps accidental, declaration of love by their limerent liver.

In 1979, Dorothy Tennov coined the term limerence for a predisposition that she observed. Today, however, limerence is generally regarded as a pathology that must be treated. But, since Tennov coined the term to apply to a predisposition, can one not navigate it as such?

There’s a similarity between introversion, extroversion, and limerence. The difference is in what drains you and what or who gives you a charge. The first two are inversions of each other. Limerence is peculiar in the particularity of one person.

Experiencing limerence is the feeling of moving in a morass. Of being suspended in gelatin. A sensation of swelling with water.

Imagine mutual limerence. Just the sight of each other is a mutual release.

@RachealSarah3 One of the great things about her is her broad range of interests. I attended a performance of Rusalka and saw that she was there at a previous performance.

Also, she apparently has a public voice and private voice. I remember her being asked about it in an interview.
