Finished 10th place at the PT. Started day 2 5-3 and just played one round at a time. Managed to 6-0 then lost my win and in. My best performance yet and had a blast this weekend. 😍

Random rants and g'vibes re: #fabtcg Skirmish S11.

Good Stuff
* Playing old favorites were amazing. Briar for LL, Dromai for Blitz. Integrating new cards from recent sets was so dope! 1-card 9 off a tunic counter with Briar Skyward Serenade - Skyzyk - Rosetta Thorn is so... satisfying haha.
* Saw a lot of new faces in different events! Looks like FAB is growing. Not as explosive, but still going up.
* Starvo nerf made him more fair to play against.

Bad Stuff
* Both formats (Blitz and LL) are "badly" broken due to some heroes. Chane is ridiculously overpowered, especially with the addition of Cull. Data Doll (Blitz) is simply sh*t to fight because you have little agency against it, unless you have item hate, which is usually limited to a few classes.
* This point I cannot stress enough - fighting against these heroes creates a negative experience for new players who are trying the game out competitively. It does not represent the best of FAB and it creatives more negatives than positives.

Over-all S11 was okay, but mainly to due to the nostalgia of getting to play old favorites like Briar and Dromai. Makes me wonder though if they should just scrap Blitz, fix LL, and keep the focus on CC if this will be the case moving forward? And just make Blitz some sort of multi-player or PVE casual format? I dunno. hehe. For now I will probably skip Blitz type events until something is done about certain heroes.

@https_marcosr I played CYB Nuu for the 1st RTN and non CYB for the rest. I generally play pretty fast and try to remind my opponent to up their pace of play respectfully especially in matchups that go long. Don’t wait too long to call them out and don’t be afraid to call a judge if necessary.

Played Slippy as a challenge as I did last year with Oly 🤣, if I won the Trap-door playmat I have to play him for one RTN. Lost round 1 to Kayo double bloodrush turn and sash turn that discarded beast within but submarined all the way. My best FAB season currently 😍

Won a RTN on Nuu week 1 and went 8-0 then split the finals on RTN week 2.
