She gets in the car wearing a thick cardigan and/or a coat. I ask her ‘Aren’t you hot?’ ‘No, I’m just right.’

@mmaher70 ‘Sleeping off a life on benefits???’ He makes it sound like the morning after a self inflicted night on the pi$$ 🍸 🥃 🍷 That person could be on medication that makes them drowsy, or they’ve not slept for 2 nights due to pain, breathlessness, dizziness or other medical symptoms.

@Isabelline1 @BenClaimant Last year I applied for what my council call a ‘discretionary payment’ & they paid most of my CT bill. This year they have changed it & only tenants get help with rent. There is no help with CT & no help with CT if you have a mortgage.

@BenClaimant When I was on ESA & PIP,I paid £30 CT a month.Last year I had to migrate to UC.I now get ESA, PIP & UC, but my income hasn’t increased. I now have to pay £76 a month, because Leicester City Council count PIP as income, but they don’t when someone is on just ESA & PIP. Madness!!!
