Thank you to everyone who celebrated Mid-Autumn with us and to our community for your support. 🥮🏮🧡

[Seen Health @SeenHealth]

Our core value “Care, like family” was the theme throughout: an 80-year-old member took the stage with his granddaughter Eno, our recreation therapy assistant, to perform an original song about his time at Seen Health. Our center was decorated with over 300 pieces of original artworks and heartfelt letters, all made by our members. The celebration featured traditional Chinese dance, acrobatic performances, Sichuan face-changing opera, and a well-known magician who left our team spellbound. Guests enjoyed specialty foods from our partners and custom Seen Health mooncakes.

[Seen Health @SeenHealth]

Some traditions are meant to be shared. 🥮🏮

On Friday, Sep. 25, more than 200 members of our community gathered at our San Gabriel Valley center to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

AI is changing how care teams work at @SeenHealth by replacing the human side of care, but by creating more room for it.

@HHCareNews featured our unique approach as we scale the first AI-native PACE program with agents to flag clinical risk, draft Care Plans, prep for CMS audits, and more.

🚀 Seen Health showcases AI-native PACE care at 2025 NPA Conference 🎉

The Seen Health team shared how our AI-native approach is transforming care planning, delivery, and measurement at last week's National PACE Association conference. We joined 1300+ PACE leaders in NYC to showcase our learnings and a glimpse of the future.

Across five sessions, we demonstrated what's possible when you combine PACE's unique advantages – interdisciplinary care, full risk alignment, dedicated facilities – with world-class technology. Orbit, our AI-native operating system, isn't just digitizing workflows but reimagining care delivery.

"You guys are so far out there, in a way that no one in PACE is." - Dr. Lo Fu Tan, San Diego PACE CMO

🤖 AI & Automation: We're deploying agents across every department: managing leads for Outreach, running analytics for Operations, verifying medications for Nursing. We spotlighted our make-a-thon empowering frontline staff to prototype AI solutions in hours, and even live-coded a referral management tool on stage.
🏠 Home Care Optimization: Our PCP and OT demoed integrated workflows calculating home care hours in real-time, lightening the load for families and coordinators while optimizing utilization.

👥 Multiplayer IDT: Our Center Director showed reimagined IDT meetings: teams collaborate live on shared "desks", with notes flowing to patient charts and team inboxes. 90-minute huddles now take 15 minutes.

📚 Startups Lessons: Nine months after opening, our rapid growth is supported by AI agents that cross-check CMS submissions, automate PMPM mapping, and catch revenue leakage. These automations help us focus on what matters most.

🌏 Community Care: Seen Health reflects the community we serve: Mandarin/Cantonese speaking staff, familiar meals, and care honoring family involvement without overburdening caregivers.

The opportunity is massive. PACE serves 85,000 seniors today but can serve millions more. We're proving technology can scale quality care without losing humanity.

Grateful to the NPA community for its collaborative spirit. See you in Denver in 2026! 🏔️

Many immigrant families — especially those with elderly loved ones — often ask us:

"If we use public benefits, will it affect our green card application?"

Actually, most of what people have heard about the "Public Charge" policy is based on outdated information.

Starting in 2019, there was indeed a period when the standards became much stricter.
Even programs like Medi-Cal (Medicaid in California), CalFresh (food stamps), housing assistance, and even school lunch programs for children were considered negative factors under the rule.

During that time, many people who were eligible for benefits didn’t use them — out of fear that it might affect their immigration status.

But that policy was officially repealed in 2021, and the rules returned to the more flexible, pre-2019 standard.

So what actually affects your green card application now? Just two things:

1️⃣ Cash assistance, such as SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
2️⃣ Long-term institutional care fully paid for by the government — like extended stays in nursing homes or ICUs where the entire cost is publicly funded

✅ On the other hand, programs like Medi-Cal, CalFresh, WIC, housing subsidies, and vaccines are considered safe to use and do not count against your green card application.
