@charlesbethea Have to be north of I-85 to even approach north GA. But if we’re talking geographically, not culturally, then the “Except Athens” phrase is leaving out “and Atlanta”, which won GA for Biden, right?

@charlesbethea Great read, but what’s with the first paragraph? “Except for Athens...north Georgia is highly Republican...”? I’ve been here 40 years & have never heard anyone call Athens “north GA”. It’s 60 miles east of Atlanta. Will concede both are in the northern half of the state.
