"It's baffling to me, how...it is controversial or contentious or objectionable that someone suggests...do you know what maybe let's not play football against them.
Maybe instead of playing a match against them, maybe let's not play a match."
@conorsmurf Schools sold an expensive panacea by tech companies. Devices not charged, broken, digital illiteracy, games, Internet distraction, messaging each other, just some of the barriers to teaching & Learning. No wonder Sweden have removed devices from schools.
@Oismur Too young to get into a pub or consume alcohol legally while all the class mates will generally be at least 18 starting college. Extra year to mature is good. Especially for boys.
Here we go, more words of deep concern while yesterday evening 77 members of this gov voted against sanctioning Israel for their crimes against humanity. We do what the US tells us while Spain refuses. It’s business as usual with genocide. Shame on these TD’s. Names to follow.
@DanMulhall Almost all doctors train abroad for specialisms. If working conditions in our hospitals were better they might want to return. Less overcrowding and simple things like 24 catering for night staff or seamless transfer of workers between hospitals might help.
You may not treat Polish citizens who have committed no crime in this way.
In the democratic world we do not abuse and gloat over people in custody.
We demand justice for our citizens and consequences for you.
@dublinbusnews@TFIupdates No rush. Can you find out please or let me know where I can contact for information. Was always referred to as dean swift bridge.
@dublinbusnews on the E2 to Dun Laoghaire. Dean Swift bridge after CLG na Fianna is now called Tolka bridge. When did this renaming occur or is it only some buses?
@PaulMcauliffe@marie_sherlock once again stuck on the bus going south at Mobhi road. 15 minutes now. Changing the traffic layout on Ballymun road and introducing no left turn on Griffith will not fix this. Metro link might. Navan train line might. @BusConnects
Moving Dublin City Council’s Civic Offices away from the Liffey Quays into a speculative office block is the wrong decision.
A phased renovation is more appropriate, and doesn’t have to cost the earth, a letter to my council colleagues:
Things are about to get real scary.
I got a WhatsApp message about a hotel reservation I made on https://t.co/OdeYaFmoQ3. They have my correct hotel name, correct dates, correct amount, everything. They ask me to confirm my CC details, without which they'll cancel my res.
