@VoxyTwitch As a redhead, I have the same experience, and when people told me I looked like Tormund Giantsbane from GoT I assumed it was "one of those" comparisons. Until I grew out my beard and got a wildling costume. Turns out, they were right.
@incorrect_mtg Cleric: uses their out of game knowledge of their friends to build the decks to suit their needs.
Artificer: makes a deck and then has every single possible accessory match exactly.
@incorrect_mtg Multi class wizard 5/bard 5.
Just dangerous enough to cast fireball. Cool enough to know that fireball doesn't belong in my deck.
Replace fireball with Star of Extinction.
@AggrendWoW As a Protection paladin, being stuck on Seal of the Martyr instead of other more interesting runes because of the admittedly cool interactions with Art of War has been a little frustrating. Being able to use Divine Storm, Avengers Shield, and ... the other feet rune would be neat
@TheVampireQween I'm doing ok, hanging in there. Playing arena and edh and D&D and wow and raising a tiny person! I'm so glad to see you out here being yourself and living your absolute best. <3
@NarukamiKnight I'm an aggro player at heart, and love getting a beat down going. When the format started peeling back on board wipes, it gave me pause (of wonderment. Who lets me just attack willy nilly). Awesome to see someone with exp. also feel the same.
@VoicesByZane Perhaps.
But I've been playing nearly every week for 3+ hours since '96 with a varying group that consists of many of the same players. Definitely not as intense as CR, But
@Timelordswife Amusingly, neither, because they cannot exist without the other. I've had great plots I care about immensely fall apart with players that were disinterested, and I've had players I've focused on prop up a plot that I put no effort into. It's the juncture that's the most important
@alsonamedjosh I only recently realized that the reason I dislike UB and yet still like Kamigawa and kalidesh, is that I enjoy seeing people do their own take on thing, iterating to make it their own. I don't find anything special with doing x in y.
@stuartsmith1988@joindicebreaker I was originally " buy the UB sets that appeal to you" crowd, but that was when there were only a few. Now I'm strictly "boycott" UB. I'm not gonna tell anyone that they shouldn't enjoy a thing, but I'm not for it. Not at all. Not anymore.
And fallout is my favorite property.
@poornawrites I've just (for the third time) completed my setting book. I hope to have it on dtrpg next month so that maybe people can buy it. I've edited it with a real editor, and purchased some art. It's been a journey through years of games and hard work. Just gotta finish the cover!!
