@BBCRadio4@bbcnickrobinson
Jonathan Hall is NOT the government’s adviser on Terrorism
He is the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation and he reports to Parliament
It is a critical distinction
@AdamBrichto
Adam, really good to stop, meet & chat yesterday
Hope day did not end too horrendously for you and those around you…?
I moved from this cesspit site ages ago and only came back on to message
I’m on BlueSky - same handle if ever need protest law expert
Rarely on here now but wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your show last night @watsoncomedian

Think too my son have chatted with you on ParkRun
@BBCr4today
I’m sorry that neither Sir Peter Fahey nor Baroness Chakrabarti were able easily and clearly to answer @JustinOnWeb question but the answer is simple and clear
Yes, the police already have the power to regulate both marches & assemblies that intimidate local people

The blurb isn’t quite right
He very well remembers my wife whose life he transformed …it’s not just those he couldn’t save that haunt him
Nonetheless, well worth a peak
I am nowadays almost never on here so I suspect few will see this but just in case….
A few people on here may know of our family’s interaction with the wonderful surgeon, Henry Marsh…he operated on my wife in 2004 when a major Cambridge teaching hospital told her to go home
and prepare to die given the size & place of the brain tumour she had
He did. She lived…and lives
BBC2 has a documentary on his life & work
Monday fortnight, 18 August 21:00 with cameos by her and our kitchen, and token gesture to me
Norwich folk: Very very late but I’ve not been able to shake off grotty head & throat

Photos from our event last week, where we launched a report in Parliament on voting rights in the UK.
4.4 million resident adults are unable to vote in Parliamentary elections
1.2 million resident adults are unable to vote in local elections

You aren’t the same @BenGoldsborough who had a shout out from the SeanBean lounge at the end of this week’s @beansaladpod ….surely?
Absolutely fantastic if you were
@Geoff_Pearson@StoriesFromJack But people just assembling - even if (let’s assume) common purpose - is not bad …protesters are
It’s the same idea as good v bad disruption
This from something I’m working on today explains a bit more
It’s not groups that are the social problem but their political motivation
@Geoff_Pearson@StoriesFromJack It was the exact reason why I chose as cover of my 2010 book Marc Wallingers Tate installation State Britain - a work of art based exactly on Brian Haw’s Westminster camp
