Yesterday KS2 had a great time at the athletics competition at the UEA. They all showed great resilience, determination and sportsmanship. An extra well done to all of our medal winners!!
We are so proud of our children who took part in a Norfolk church art competition. Over 2,500 entries and our very own Katya won 2nd place! We went to Norwich Cathedral where Dame Emma Bridgewater presented Katya with of art supplies and a voucher for our school! @SapientiaTrust
In assembly, we’ve been exploring our PSHE topic “Changing Me.” The children have been thinking about how our journeys in life make each of us unique and special. The children have been thoughtful and reflective and we have loved hearing about their aspirations!
A HUUUUUUUUGE thank you to these three wonderful humans for giving up their time and sleep to take the Year 5 and 6 children on residential this week. You are fabulous. And while we are complimenting people - kids, you were little legends and made us very proud!
In Kestrel Class we have been learning about Islam. We visited Siddiqa Nawaz Mosque in Broome to enrich our learning further! We found out more about the Islamic Holy book called the Qur'an, The 5 Pillars of Islam and the importance of the pilgrimage to Hajj for Muslims.
Last week Bittern class went on a trip to the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum to be inspired for our work on Travel and Transport in History this term.
