@Jeff_like_Feff As a huge FF7 Remake Trilogy fan, I would adore a reimagination. If I walk into Hyrule Field and it is the same basic shape I’ll be pretty bummed out
@Eldonchorizo_ I’m 35 hours into my Switch 2 playthrough. I’ve had this happen one time. The Switch 2 definitely has some struggles, but when you focus on the few times it happens instead of the full picture, it’s misleading and makes it seem broken. I’m having a wonderful time
@SonicHero3D I love both for different reasons. The world building and character growth of Remake and Rebirth is really great, but the breakneck pacing of OG is pretty unreal. I get where people have their issues with Remake, but I find it funny people act like it’s horrible. Both have merit
@Plun_Yu How far along are you? It’s so good, I revisit it often ever since I first played it, and I have no nostalgic ties to it because my first playthrough was in the late 2010s
@geofftrainwreck I was so close to getting it, but lost steam thanks to some of the VR missions. Everything else was so much fun though and I honestly still want to go back and get it!
@enmysune@hitchhatchherb@JanzoArt@ntbtslgbtq I was gonna buy today and do a watch party, I’m begging for a link! I’m still gonna support to boys when it drops digitally stateside, but I really want to watch tonight!
@Jeff_like_Feff I saw this yesterday and like…Just go play FF7?? Lmao. Such a stupid timeline we are living in, play something with soul and passion, not this dreamscape garbage
@getonthestiix Coming from a Final Fantasy 7 fan, the worst part of being a Final Fantasy 7 fan is the community. Just enjoy FF7 in any way you want, and spread the love of FF7. Don’t understand the weird gate-keepy culture around the game. And don’t even get me started on the shippers…
@MichaelPHuber Ender Magnolia was an awesome Metroidvania, and Ruffy and the Riverside was a phenomenal throwback to that N64 platforming goodness that’s missing in modern gaming
@IntroSpecktive It’s so good so far, I’ve only done the first main sublevel and can’t wait to play more tonight. The irreparable damage that Digital Foundry has done to the gaming community though makes me so upset, even with a glowing review somehow people can’t look past the occasional issues.
