@felixwhite I've followed baseball from time to time since 1987 (when the Cards lost to the Twins in the W.S., and have followed the Cards ever since. But my question is - does the panel regret the introduction of the DH system to the NL?
@tinkle14 Ah yes - in my younger days I saw Brubeck on stage in a double bill with MJQ - the Modern Jazz Quartet - at the New Victoria. Still have a couple of vinyl LPs of his work - "Countdown Time..." etc. Of the same vintage (though not seen on stage) was Peggy Lee and George Shearing

And it is not too much of a stretch of imagination to suggest that appalling situation was a contributor to the pre-WW1 events.
