If you've heard people talk about BabyDoge ($BABYDOGE) but don't really understand what it is, let me break it down simply.

🐾 What is BabyDoge?

BabyDoge is a cryptocurrency and meme project launched in June 2021. It started as a meme-inspired token, but its community also built a strong focus around animal welfare and helping dogs.

One major example happened in May 2023, when BabyDoge and Best Friends Animal Society were involved in a donation of 36,750.88 kg (81,021 lb) of pet food in 24 hours, which Guinness World Records recognized as the largest donation of pet food in 24 hours. The food was distributed to more than 30 shelters, foster carers and local pet owners in Arkansas.

And this work is still continuing. In July 2026, BabyDoge documented a rescue in Brazil where 12 puppies were rescued from a debris site, dewormed, vaccinated and given care.

BabyDoge's own donation system says people can donate through specific campaigns using card, PayPal or crypto, and you don't need to own BABYDOGE to donate.
