When the party is in San Diego, but the treasure chest is still in Durham, there’s only one thing to do: fly it across the country. 🏴‍☠️✈️

Two flights and a taco stop later, the treasure chest made it in time for our post-@CommerceRound event.

Thanks to everyone who joined us at the Spicy Sunset Soirée for an evening of live music, food and drinks, great company, and a front-row seat to the sunset. And a special shout-out to those who braved our mini Hot Ones challenge. 🌶️

Shopify Sidekick isn't just for Seguno Email anymore.

It now works with Bulk Discount Code Bot, too. Create unique discount code sets and ask Sidekick things like:

➡️ Which campaign drove the most revenue last month? The highest net profit?

➡️ Are any of my Bulk discount code sets not profitable?

➡️ Have I had any discounts that show signs of being leaked?

➡️ Do I have any old discount sets that I should deactivate?

➡️ For my bulk discount sets, which channel had the most redeemed codes last quarter?

No more digging through reports.

Find it on the Shopify App Store.

Percentage-off codes beat amount-off in AOV for five of eight industries we studied. The difference was about $28 per order: $95.75 with a percentage-off discount vs. $67.35 with an amount-off discount.

Most Shopify discount codes get set up in 5 minutes and are never looked at again. That's usually where the margin leaks out.

We built a framework to avoid that trap and create strategic discounts that drive revenue. It’s backed by data from 12,400+ Shopify merchants, 182M unique discount codes, and a risk audit of 117M active discounts.

What you’ll find in the Ultimate Guide to Shopify Discount Codes:

➡️ The type of code that prevents leakage
➡️ Picking the discount type that serves your goal
➡️ Targeting tactics to protect margins
➡️ The standard safeguards to add
➡️ How to promote your codes so they get used
➡️ Measuring discount performance

Your ESP shouldn't be the only place your customer data lives.

When you migrate to Seguno, we convert your subscriber data into Shopify customer metafields.

You can start using it immediately. Plop a customer’s data straight into an email. Show only what’s pertinent to them with dynamic content. Fuel segments and automations for more precise personalization.

And it’s helpful beyond email, strengthening your entire store. From sharper Sidekick results and Flow automations, to filtering in reports and tons more: everything gets stronger when Shopify houses your data.

Data is only useful if you know what to do with it.

Our discount benchmark landed in @MyTotalRetail, with concrete suggestions for putting the findings to work. A few worth bookmarking: 🧵

[Seguno @SegunoSoftware]

→ Invest in relationship-based discounts. Employee, friends & family, and student codes outperformed seasonal campaigns 5x on redemptions.

→ Narrow your audience. Segment-restricted codes showed a 50–68% AOV lift.
