I'm so glad that I'm not super tuned into discourse anymore cause I have no idea what's happening in the system community right now and it's great lmao
Why are our teachers small talk topics constantly triggering us? We are basically always blurry during his lessons because of this. And I know he isn’t doing it on purpose or anything, but it’s really not nice.
-probably Sophie, not sure tho
Hey I saw someone say that the term "plural" is just for DID/OSDD systems and uh, no actually. It's always been an inclusive term for anyone who experiences being more than one
Shout out to non-switching systems, who were removed as a clinical example from the DSM-III-R. Non-switching systems that function mostly through passive influence deserve more recognition. OSDD-1a and OSDD-1b aren’t the only ways to be OSDD-1!

The narratives of “you don’t want to have DID/OSDD,” “don’t wish you had this disorder,” “you shouldn’t want this,” don’t feel right in our mouth.
It’s like saying “you don’t want to be disabled. It’s not a desirable thing.” That leaves an bad taste in my mouth.
A system considering themselves to be different people is NOT misinformation or a lack of understanding.
It’s identity.
You can consider yourselves parts. That’s fine. But we don’t see ourselves that way. We’re people. That’s also fine.
This is a silly and pointless debate.

I’m fucking tired of people acting like we must choose between having either inclusive spaces /or/ exclusive ones.
That’s faulty logic. That’s bullshit.
Both can coexist! There’s no reason, whatsoever, why we can’t have both.
They can, and should, both exist.

If you mock people for enjoying things in a 'cringy' way, or slag people off for having 'weird' ways of expressing their emotions and enthusiasm, you aren't safe for autistic and other neurodivergent people, no matter how many 'I support disabled kids' Facebook posts you share.
Ok, can someone tell me what this situation with all the DID-Youtubers is about? I somehow missed what happened and now I’m confused what everyone is talking about.
All people who experience being many are welcome and included in our activism and our channel. We may not have direct experience with anything but being a trauma-origin system, but it doesn't mean we don't try to learn and include

I don't know who needs to hear this, but parents must EARN that title.
If you had to Survive them, they were NOT parents, they were Abusers.
I never had parents, there was our birth-giver (still abusing us to this day) & the sperm-donor. That's all they are.
I'm always surprised that not everyone with #ADHD knows about RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria) and it's like, a real important part of having ADHD. Let's break it down!
