TELPAS Snack🍿of the Day👇🏽TEA released data from a sampling of 5000 students’ speaking responses and found that students are🗣️speaking 20 seconds or less which isn’t enough. Students who scored advanced high spoke at least 40 ⏰seconds.

This is the picture word inductive model(Calhoun1999). Teachers have created variations of the method as well. @DrMelindaMiller & I wrote abt it in #ReadingWritingELs bc this is a powerful technique for teaching #multilinguallearners. We love it! #PWIM
