@Clydejackson69@puckempire You are offering not substantive argument except: “trust me bro”
Meanwhile I brought quotes, actual circumstances, and stats showing your argument is nonsense.
The people can decide who’s right.
@Clydejackson69@puckempire Your argument is: I have to be right because two events happening one day after another can’t be coincidentally right next to each other
???
Nice
@Clydejackson69@puckempire Also a long contract negotiation that didn’t sit well with either side. Yzerman not wanting to re-sign Bert changes 0% based on Larkin’s contract being signed, or if they had like $50 million in cap space.
@Clydejackson69@puckempire You just clearly aren’t plugged into what was actually going on. Issue with Bert was never the money, it was that Yzerman didn’t want him. LaLonde said on TV post firing that they thought his skating was gone, didn’t want to re-sign him.
a few days ago, the conundrum with the Yzerplan was that Larkin was turning 30 on the downswing as Seider (25), Raymond (24), and Edvinsson (23) hit their primes. now the conundrum is that without Larkin, their centre position is fucked
@Clydejackson69@puckempire They would have maybe used half of it and then not signed one of their veterans so net net they would have knocked off a couple million… this just doesn’t add up
