Selling a GK who grew up in the academy, loves the club, came back on the promise of a bigger role, and who could’ve stayed at this club for a very long time (a player who gave us two trophies last season alone) is a BIG mistake. Donnarumma won’t last three months under Maresca. He’s not Pep, who’ll smile at your errors and let mistakes leading to goals slide, who’s more forgiving if you don’t take an active role in building up from the back. Maresca sticks rigidly to his principles and methods. We’ve lost a gem who could’ve genuinely shone under him.
